RAMLAN RASIDI (RAMBO)
Ramlan was an ex-py 1991
and in Solid D. Currently with SSEAYP International Singapore (SIS) as Director (Local Program) and Director (Sports
& Recreations) for the past 10 years. With SIS, he was invloved in
other programs such as OBSC 1996, PPYEP 2002 (Osaka), SIGA 1992 (Singapore), 1999 (Singapore), 2000 (Bali), 2002 (Tokyo).
Graduated from Centre Development for Disability Studies in Sydney Australia, at present, he is working
as Training Officer at Movement for the Intellectually Disabled of Singapore (MINDS).
Teaching, training and supervising the special need persons with intellectually challenge in a sheltered workshop along
Margaret Drive.
He is also a freelance Malay cultural dance
instructor, coaching and teaching Malay Dance in community clubs, organizations and schools.
An active volunteer with Perkumpulan Seni
(Arts Group) serving the board as Secretary, Head of Dance Section and Head of Youth and Spots/Recreation for the past 15
years.
With PS, he aquired a handful experienced
in Arts especially Malay Dance and Acting.
He performed in ASEAN Dance Festival
in Brunei
(1987) and Jakarta (1990), studied Indonesia Arts & Culture in Indonesian Dance Academy (ASTI – Bandung) in
1992, stage and TV acting in local and Malaysia
TV in 1996 till now and have choreographed numerous
local arts scene such dance Festivals, Chingay and National Day Parade.
